Best Steakhouses in Jersey City

In the mood for a juicy steak or perhaps a mouthwatering burger? Whether you prefer T-bone, filet mignon, ribeye or New York strip, these best steakhouses in Jersey City offer top-quality meats cooked just to your liking.

Edward’s Steakhouse

Top on this list is Edward’s Steakhouse, a local favorite housed in a 1900s brownstone building on Marin Boulevard. With a basement entrance it’s easy to miss this restaurant but you should definitely pay a visit if you love a good steak.

The Mahogany bar room has been serving local residents since the Prohibition era and is a popular spot for after work drinks. The restaurant also features an upstairs dining room which is good for groups and large parties.

Staff are always attentive and the menu features a wide selection of dishes, including steaks, chops and seafood. The mac n cheese, chicken parm and the roasted beet salad are also some of our favorite dishes. Whatever you order, you really can’t go wrong with Edward’s and it definitely deserves its place on this list of the best steakhouses in Jersey City. The interior is elegant yet cozy and the vibe is always welcoming.
